Services (Visual)

From the first entry to the final resolution.

A visual map of everything we do — so you can see exactly where we fit.

The whole picture

What we do, as one path.

Everything we do, drawn as a single journey — from recording your first transaction, to presenting financials to your board, to representing you before the IRS or the Washington Department of Revenue. One CPA. One point of contact. Start to finish.

I

Every month

The foundation: clean books, payroll, a real monthly close, and reports you can actually use.

II

Every year

Every filing the IRS, the state, and the city expect — plus planning so there are no April surprises.

III

When something happens

A notice, an audit, a dispute, a lender asking questions. This is where many firms stop. We don’t.

Track one

For businesses & nonprofits

Nothing on this path is outsourced, and nothing is sent overseas.

B P 1 BUSINESS PERSONAL ONE CPA

Own a business? The two tracks run together.

The S-corp salary decision, distributions, estimated payments, and the personal return are one picture.

Many owners end up with a bookkeeper, a business tax preparer, and a personal tax preparer who never talk to each other. Here, the same CPA sees both sides.

The questions we get asked most

Quick answers, no runaround.

If your question isn’t here, the 15-minute fit call is free — ask us there.

Yes.

Do you do bookkeeping and the tax return?

Both, under one roof. The books feed the return, and the same person is responsible for each.

Yes.

Will you talk to the IRS for me?

As a CPA, Diana has unlimited representation rights before the IRS and represents clients in examinations, collections, and appeals. You sign a power of attorney (Form 2848); we take it from there.

Yes.

The Washington Department of Revenue too?

B&O and excise tax filings, DOR audits, and administrative appeals. State matters are handled the same way as federal ones.

Yes.

Will you present the financials to our board?

Board packets, finance committee reports, and live presentations — in person or on video — explained in plain English.

Yes.

Can you deal with our auditors directly?

We prepare the request list, answer the auditors’ questions, and manage the audit from your side so your staff isn’t pulled away from their work.

Yes.

Do you work with nonprofits?

Form 990, restricted-fund accounting, grant reporting, board reporting, and the tax filings that keep your exempt status current — alongside our for-profit work.

Yes.

My books are a mess. Can you still help?

Clean-up is where many engagements start. We rebuild the books first, then move forward.

Yes.

Can you help if I’m years behind on filing?

We bring every year current, fix what was done wrong, and work out a path back to good standing — including payment arrangements where needed.

Yes.

Can you help with the financial side of a divorce?

We prepare the statement of assets and debts, analyze income and cash flow, and show the after-tax effect of any proposed division. Your attorney handles the legal side; we supply the numbers.

Yes.

A family member passed away. Can you handle the estate’s taxes?

The final return, the estate and trust income tax returns, the federal and Washington estate tax returns, and the fiduciary accounting an executor or trustee needs. Probate itself is your attorney’s work.

Yes.

I have accounts or income outside the U.S. Does that matter?

It does — FBAR, FATCA, foreign income, and foreign gift and inheritance reports all have their own filings and steep penalties. We prepare them, and use the IRS’s catch-up procedures for any that were missed.

No.

Do you provide legal services?

Diana is a CPA, not an attorney. In legal matters, we serve as the accounting expert working alongside your attorney.

No.

Do you provide wealth management or investment advice?

Our practice is devoted entirely to accounting and tax. We don’t manage portfolios or advise on where to invest your money — that belongs with a licensed financial advisor. What we do is show you the tax consequences of an investment or financial decision before you make it, so you can choose with the full picture in view.

No.

Is any of the work sent overseas?

Never. Every number that touches your file is handled by Diana herself, here in Seattle.

Not sure which stop you’re at?

That’s exactly what the fit call is for. Tell us where things stand — clean books or chaos, routine filing or an IRS letter on the counter — and we’ll tell you honestly what we’d do first.
